BigHthePlumber will call to your premises and assess your requirements for your new bathroom or en suite, we will measure up the room on site and plan out positions of sanitary ware to allow for easy access while paying close attention to the aesthetic. We believe the choice of tiles and of course, quality of tiling is one of the most important things in any fit out.
In terms of sanitary ware, taps and showers, it should be noted that warranties are more important than aesthetics, what’s the point of having fancy taps and showers if you can’t easily service them or freely get parts? Thought should also be given to your hot and cold water system which may not be up to manufacturers requirements as all taps and showers are now made to European standards which are high pressure systems, while most Irish systems are low pressure.
Once we have agreed all work and drawings with you, we will then work with your supplier, either chosen from our useful links and numbers page or your own choice, to ensure the quantities and quality required are delivered on time and with the appropriate guarantee.
We aim to complete your bathroom or en suite within 7 working days. All required trades are available to us either as direct employees or as subcontractors listed on our useful links and numbers page.
While a quote will be given for the strip out and fit out with removal of all rubbish from site, any issues with walls and floors i.e. loose or flaking material or defects, cannot be seen until the strip out begins. These defects, should they be uncovered, would need to be rectified to manufacturers terms and conditions and so we require a contingency sum to allow for this situation.
